openness PAPEL & CANETA /2020.
The global pandemic of the COVID-19 virus has affected many lives, through different aspects - not just through the disease. People have had to be completely isolated and, for some, this has meant a growing feeling of loneliness and isolation. Depression and anxiety are just some of the problems which have emerged in this period.
Openness is an invite for people to open their windows and keep in touch with the world, especially with other people. Physical windows, virtual windows, all of them. With them opened, the light will come in naturally.
An independent collaborative project created by Papel & Caneta and produced through the lenses of 20 directors around the world - each one filming from inside their houses.
